Welcome to On Court! We’re here to help you get the most out of your tennis competition experience. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about using the app.

Creating Your Account

  1. Download the On Court app from your app store
  2. Tap “Sign Up” on the welcome screen
  3. Enter your email address and create a secure password
  4. Verify your email address through the confirmation link
  5. Complete your profile setup

Setting Up Your Profile

To get the most out of On Court, complete your profile with:

  • Player gender: Whether you play men’s or women’s
  • Name: Your display name for competitions
  • Profile Picture: Make it easy for others to recognize you
  • Association ID: Your ID for your national association
  • ITF number: your ITF number

Creating Competitions

How to Create a New Competition
  1. Tap the “+” button on the home screen competitions tab
  2. Fill in the competition details:
    • Competition name
    • Dates and times
    • Location
    • Number of participants
    • Skill level requirements
  3. Set up the format (single elimination, round robin, etc.)
  4. Tap “Create” to publish your competition
Managing Your Competitions

As a competition organizer, you can:

  • Edit competition details before it starts
  • Accept or decline participant requests
  • Update scores and results
  • Send notifications to participants
  • View participant profiles

Joining Competitions

Finding Competitions
  • Browse the “Competitions” tab to see available events
  • Use filters to find competitions by:
    • Location
    • Date
    • Skill level
    • Competition type
  • Tap on any competition to view details
Joining a Competition
  1. Find a competition you’d like to join
  2. Tap “Join Competition”
  3. Review the competition details
  4. Confirm your participation
  5. Wait for the organizer to accept your request

Managing Matches

Recording Scores
  1. Navigate to your current match
  2. Tap “Record Score”
  3. Enter the score for each set
  4. Confirm the final result
  5. Both players will receive a notification
Viewing Match History
  • Access your match history from your profile
  • View detailed statistics and performance trends
  • Filter by date, opponent, or competition type
  • Share your achievements with friends

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit my profile information?

Yes! You can update your profile information at any time:

  1. Go to your profile tab
  2. Tap “Edit Profile”
  3. Make your changes
  4. Save your updates
How do I withdraw from a competition?

If you need to withdraw from a competition:

  1. Go to “My Competitions”
  2. Find the competition you want to leave
  3. Tap “Leave Competition”
  4. Confirm your decision
  5. The organizer will be notified
What if there's a dispute about a score?

If you have a dispute about a match score:

  1. Try to resolve it directly with your opponent
  2. Contact the competition organizer
  3. If still unresolved, contact our support team
  4. Provide match details and any evidence
How do I report inappropriate behavior?

We take user safety seriously. To report inappropriate behavior:

  1. Go to the user’s profile
  2. Tap “Report User”
  3. Select the reason for reporting
  4. Provide details about the incident
  5. Submit your report

Our team will investigate and take appropriate action.

Can I use the app without an internet connection?

On Court requires an internet connection to:

  • Load competitions and match data
  • Update scores and results
  • Send notifications
  • Sync with other players

Some profile information may be cached for offline viewing, but full functionality requires connectivity.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

App Won’t Load

  • Check your internet connection
  • Close and restart the app
  • Update to the latest version
  • Restart your device

Can’t Sign In

  • Verify your email address is correct
  • Check if you’re using the right password
  • Try the “Forgot Password” option
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection

Notifications Not Working

  • Check your device notification settings
  • Ensure On Court notifications are enabled
  • Update the app to the latest version
  • Try logging out and back in

Performance Issues

If you’re experiencing slow performance:

  1. Close other apps running in the background
  2. Restart your device to free up memory
  3. Check your internet connection speed
  4. Update the app to the latest version
  5. Clear the app cache (Android users)

Data Not Syncing

If your data isn’t syncing properly:

  2. Force close and restart the app
